Syncline Demo
A grid puzzle about a line of cubes. Free demo, DRM-free, no account needed.
Your cubes are joined in a straight chain, and the chain moves by tumbling end over end. Lying flat it rolls one cell at a time; stood upright it covers more ground but reaches higher. Rotate the camera in ninety-degree steps to read the level from another side, then work out the sequence that leaves a cube touching every goal.
The chain is not something you protect. Roll it into a wall and it splits: the cubes that can move carry on, the ones that cannot are left behind on the grid, waiting to be picked up again by a later tumble. Shortening the chain on purpose is usually the answer. Roll it somewhere with nothing underneath, though, and the move is simply refused - the chain never strands a cube in empty space.
Later levels bring blocks that break under you, cubes that destroy or duplicate whatever lands on them, and switches that rearrange the level mid-solve.
