The Entity's Trial takes you up to a familiar asymmetrical horror gameplay, where survivors must find and repair generators in order to escape while hiding and avoiding Seekers that will kill any survivor that stands in their way.

This is a 2D asymmetrical 1v4 survival horror game with a twist.: You're a lone survivor, 3 health states vs. up to 7 crazy jocked up monstrosities.  

This game heavily relies on audio, as the Seekers are partially blind but will violently attack anyone or anything that loosely sounds alive. They will chase grunts of pain, imaginary footsteps, repairing sounds, partially repaired generators, themselves, and even walls. The Seekers are not reliant on code, but are able to decide for themselves on how to patrol and attack a survivor. In this way, they can be passive or aggressive in their hunt and will give the survivors a chance if the Seekers miscalculate (which often happens, if they don't get lost first). 

But beware, Seekers are not the only problem here.

This game also utilizes dynamic level generation, where every player and enemy spawn, room, corridor, generator and hatch is different from the last game. This gives survivors a fair fighting chance against non-hardcoded opponents because they could be lost just as easily as any average player.
