This is super cool!!!

this game looks gorgeous

but the gameplay is very unintuitive, you should work on that, so the player doesn't rely on dying over and over again to know what to do

the game also reminds me of*that one* fnaf fangame, i'm sure you know which one

looks like gsaf on crack, hope it turns out well and NOTHING BAD HAPPENS

Okay, so. I love this, really. I have some gripes, but I wanna sing its praises first.

First off, the office. It's our first introduction to this version of Freddy's and you absolutely nailed it. That dank, musty vibe juxtapositioned next to bright and cheery child-friendly atmosphere is spot on. The "Gregg Rulz Ok" sticky note is a great easter egg. My only complaint about the office is there's no nose honk, but I'll live.

This building's layout makes MUCH more sense than the original fnaf 1 layout. A single, regular wooden door that can just swing open any time. And you actually included the front doors! Now nobody can wonder how the hell anyone goes in this place.

On the topic of the doors, having Chica actually just straight up leave the building to kill you is both hilarious and incredibly inventive. The idea of this giant bird robot sprinting full speed around a dingy old building is amazing to me. Like, she hates you enough to get her feet wet.

Now, onto the things I don't really like or understand. The camera system is confusing, to say the least. Having to look back and forth between the door and the monitor just to get your bearings on what you're even looking at is disorienting, and can make it harder to keep track of even just the two animatronics. I can only imagine that issue will get worse as more of them pop up through the full game.

My advice on that would be to move the map over to the same screen as the monitor, maybe on the wall behind it? I don't have a problem with having to click through every single camera to find someone, as I think it adds to the suspense and stress of it all, but I need to know what I'm looking for in the first place. I had no clue that the front doors were the front doors until I pieced it together after one of my (many) deaths.

This is more of a nitpick, but the drawstring for the blinds is very small and hard to spot for your first playthrough. If you don't know you can close the blinds, chances are you won't figure it out until you read the death screen hints. Maybe add some sort of Freddy charm to the end, so it's easier to see. This will also draw player's attention so maybe they'll try clicking it, and find out that way it pulls the blinds down.

Bonnie's peek into the window has a very small timeframe to react in my opinion. More than once I was fumbling for the drawstring and ended up dying because I couldn't get to it in time. I want to suggest giving players a bit longer to react (as well as a sound cue that he's there in the first place - if we hear him leave, we should hear him approach too) but if you'd rather not do that, then making the hitbox for the string a bit bigger may also help.

“These characters will live on. In the hearts of kids, these characters will live on.”

-Unattributed.

It’s been a decade since Freddy’s closed its doors. Here you are, at that damned establishment. The halls are never empty here. On this cold night you ask yourself; were the grisly rumors true?

As a security guard, your job is quite straightforward. Keep a close eye on those cameras, look out for suspicious activity, and don’t let anything get into your office.

Freddy’s: Reanimated is a reimagining of Five Nights at Freddy’s by Scott Cawthon. It has a completely different and original story, different mechanics, a different map, different character designs, and a much more challenging experience.

content_new.png

The content to expect from this game is much different than the original Five Nights at Freddy’s. It will include:

  • Unique mechanics for each character

  • Heavy emphasis on watching the cameras

  • A much different atmosphere

  • Gameplay beyond 5 nights

  • A fresh and avant-garde take on the mysterious lore hidden behind familiar mascot faces.
