What is The Blind Eye?
The Blind Eye is going to be an upcoming ARG, and I want it to be one of the most difficult ARGs out there. Until then, here's a little sneak peak of what's to come. I apologize in advance, this game may be very buggy, for it's my first time doing an ARG, so please offer feedback and suggestions. I'm open to any ideas! Anyone and everyone is welcome to play, just do understand that this will be difficult to many casual players.
What if I haven't played an ARG before?
If you are new to ARGs in general, I recommend researching them prior to this one. You can try starting with The Theorist Gateway by The Game Theorists to help get you better prepared for this game. Don't expect all the puzzles to be the same, just have that as a base so we're on the same page.
Is there a lore to The Blind Eye?
Believe it or not, yes. You are going to have to try to find the hidden lore in The Blind Eye. But again, for in the full game, I may drop a few hints.
So, for those brave enough to attempt to play even this small game, be prepared for what may come.
Do you have tips to solve The Blind Eye?
Absolutely! I'd recommend finding a few friends, for the classic "two heads" mindset. I do have a Discord chat going (link here), where you can join with others and maybe, I'll even drop some hints for some of you guys! Look up with anything that looks particularly off (eg. Why are there 1s and 0s here? Why are there these weird square codes? What does Charlie-Oscar-Delta-Echo mean?) on the internet. Yes, really; no one will stop you from looking up tips on the internet. It's weird, but please feel free to. And again, check up on some tropes that ARGs tend to use before proceeding if you are completely unfamiliar with them in general. Some helpful ones include The Theorist Gateway again, Doki Doki Literature Club, and even Do Not Play this Game! I don't want to turn this into homework, but if you are stumped, those are good starting points to check out.
