Alright, time for an in depth review. Where do I start? Well, first of all, I love the art style. I love games that have uniform gameplay and menu systems, and not a lot developers take enough time to perfect this as much as you do. Now on to the puzzles themselves. This gameplay idea is so unique, that I struggle to find another game which has an even remotely similar prescence. What strikes me as amazing in this game is that there are many ways to approach each level, but only one correct way to actually pass it. It is this level of making a mistake and then finally realizing "aha!" that gets me hooked to it, and it is something that I wish more people understood when coding games. Now for the music. The music was an excellent choice for this game. It gives it an adventure/retro feel to it, and as I am doing the puzzles it almost incites a feeling of thoughtfulness and dread, kind of like when I am in a Zelda dungeon in the original NES. Now for the controls. Astounding job fusing so many gameplay elements into one click. The level of depth this offers is more than I could ask for, and anyone who gives this anything less than a 5 is simply nuts. Good job, and, keep up the great work!
My reaction~ "Oh Yeh! I beat the game, wiggity woot! aaaaaaaand now my team is dead. that's good..."
Very nice. Simple, yet immersive.
This is a really awesome puzzle game. One thing that you did right in this that I think a lot of other puzzle games screw up on is pacing. For me, it didn't actually get hard until about level 22, which is good. I find some puzzle games too hard at level 2, which is a huge problem because I give up immediately. When I get to the hard levels in this I actually want to think them through. Also, the level complete jingle is adorable :D
Moirai, what a strange game!
A band of brave warriors find themselves summoned to a mysterious cave following a short tremor. As they descend the cave's many floors, they unearth a secret that rests deep inside their souls.
