'The nefarious Mr. Etch and the charming Mr. Bringsworthy' is a gamejam game developed at the Indie Gameleon game jam located in Groningen, the Netherlands.
We made the game with a team of 5, two artists, two programmers and an audio designer in a time span of 48 hours.
The theme of the gamejam was the following drawing made by M.C. Escher: http://www.scottmcd.net/artanalysis/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Escher-Big.jpg
The game is played with two players. Mr. Bringsworthy is having a nightmare which he can escape by collecting tiny fairies. His nightmare however is controlled by Mr. Etch, who can activate monsters by filling them with ink.
Mr. Bringsworthy is controlled with a keyboard or controller. Mr. Etch (the pen tip) can be controlled by drawing tablet or a regular mouse.
With this game we won three awards: Best graphics, Most original and the Shiny award.
