Meet Erik - a middle-aged deformed genius who haunts an opera house in Paris by pretending to be its resident ghost. You are his conscience. Sometimes he listens to you, sometimes he does not. It's your job to guide him through his life.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, he happens to fall head over heels in love with a young Swedish singer. Assaulted by strong feelings, he begins to spiral into insanity, and it becomes more difficult for you to keep the situation under control.

Spend five months by Erik's side and witness first-hand what obsession can do to a human being, and how one act of kindness can bring one back from the brink of insanity.

The character list was expanded and fleshed out, and I've been working on character footnotes. In the same time I began fleshing out the game mechanics. Here you go with a sneak peak of "Getting Information" description!

The locations plan in the main area is fully complete, but it may be subject to further renovations. The character list is fully complete. The endings list is fully complete. Working on the timeline now.

I have found architectural plans for Palais Garnier in acceptable resolution. I have no idea why it took me so long to find them, but now I can start fleshing out my maps! Stay tuned for more info!

Hey, guess who's alive! I've been terribly busy with university, but this project has been on a backburner, NOT abandoned. Either way, I present to you: the update of our main character's in-game sprite!

Still searching for a way to make the animations work. Very busy with university. Haven't opened the game file for months now.

Devlog 05/08/2019: Technically crouching and running are successfully implemented - now onto actually making the animations. Trying to make the crouching animation look smooth and natural.
The movement spasm bug is still present. While cycles didn't work.

Devlog 04/08/2019: Rigged animation successfully implemented! Erik can walk (AND moonwalk, apparently)!
I am quite glad with how it turned out.
