It is really good game BUT since the actual author is Alexitron, I'll give me true rating to him instead
I remember when this was released years ago on the GameMaker community!! I still have the source code the maker had released at the time!! ^_^ Such an entertaining and fun game, one of the best GameMaker projects I've seen to this day.
The graphics are simple and amazing !
I liked that bosses are fun and enemies (specially the birds) are somehow challenging.

This is a great metroid-like. It is very ambient, despite simple graphics. The bosses are fun, too (I especially liked the boss you have to defeat with mines. Took me three tries). I wasn't a big fan of all the words: I think metroid did a really good job of communicating with just sounds and shapes, and that's part of the genre's charm, for me.
