The Murder of Adam George

The Murder of Adam George is developed for Adventure Jam 2020 using the theme Distance / Isolation.

The game is a 3D point&click adventure game.

You play as Associate Inspector Edward to solve the murder of Adam George; who is found dead in his mansion with a population of 6. His wife, daughter, the butler, the maid and the chef.

You need to interrogate the suspects, search the mansion for possible murder weapons and resolve this mystery; but...

There is a problem. No one is allowed to leave their rooms, including yourself.

Library:

Use Computer to learn the screen is broken

• Use computer to learn the screen is broken

• Use TV to check it as a replacement screen

• Use Computer again to learn the items for a custom made antenna

• Pickup Rhino Horn

• Open the wardrobe and pickup elephant tusk

• Pick up the chefs knife on the table

• Use chefs knife on the computer to cut the screen cable

• use the cable on the computer to connect it to the antenna

• Use the computer again to see the antenna is working

• Use the TV to see antenna is working but there is no picture

• Pick up the giant Turkey bone on the table

• Use the bone on the TV

• Use TV to open up the Woom Chat

Woom Chat:

• Talk all possible dialogues with the suspects

Wife's Room:

• Look at the elephant head on the wall.

• Go find the different wardrobe and use it

• It is locked and needs a combination.

Maid's Room:

• Check the wardrobe. it is locked. The maid tells she buried the key.

• Check the plant but the roots are too strong

• Open the chest and pick up the rat poison

• When you use it on the plant it doesnt dissolve into the soil

• Pick up the mug and use it on water jug

• Use rat poison on the full mug

• Use the liquid poison on the plant

• Use on plant and pick up the key

• Open the wardrobe using the key

• Look at the photo and learn about the number behind

Library:

• Look at the fireplace, there is a note but the fireplace tong is missing

• Use the bone on the firplace and learn the number

Woom Chat:

• Talk with the wife and suggest the numbers you have learned for the combination key

Wife's Room:

• Open the wardrobe using the recently learned code

• Look at the gun

Butler's Room:

• Open the chest

• Look at the fireplace tong

• Use the drawer. it is locked.

• Use the firplace tong on the drawer

• Check the letter

Daughter's Room:

• Check the photo next to the bed

• Check the wardrobe, it is locked

• Check the shelves near the tv, look at the console manual

• Look at the gamepad 1 and 2

• Use the wardrobe again and use the object ids as the password

• Pickup the key

• Open the chest

• Check the syringe

Kitchen:

• Chef refuses to talk when he is hungry

• Go check the giant turkey

• check the turkey leg, chef needs a knife to cut it

• Pick up the sword fish

• use the sword fish on the turkey leg

• Use the turkey leg on oven

• Pick up fruits

• use fruits on oven

• Pick up the mug

• Use mug on the sink

• Use full mug on oven

• Use the clock to speed it up

• Use oven to eat

• Look at the letter on the table

Woom Chat:

• Talk with everyone according to newly found objects

• When everyone has the Push Further option you can choose who you want to push.

• You need to push 1 of the wife-daughter, and of the maid-butler-chef

• If you push the daughter, the wife will be chosen as guilty

• If you push the wife, the daughter will be chosen as guilty

• If you push the butler, the maid will be chosen as guilty

• If you push the maid, the chef will be chosen as guilty

• If you push the chef, the butler will be chosen as guilty

• Once you push 2 suspects the cutscene will take you back to the library

• Inspect the dead body and the ending scene plays
