Brief description:
Your name is Erling, and you are a toolsmither. You reside in a small town nestled in the hills, notorious for its deadly cold climate. Every January, the most dreaded event known as the Whispering Week unfolds. During this time, monstrous entities with unholy appearances emerge to begin their hunt. Your town has found a way to fend off the monsters during Whispering Week. But, it's not perfect. Despite efforts to keep them out, some still fall victim to the creatures. Tough break for those who get caught off guard.
Your father was devoted to discovering a means to drive these creatures away from your town. He came close to unraveling the mystery but was ultimately consumed by them, leaving behind only his research notes, which are now in your possession.
Your objective is to retrieve these notes and decipher them yourself. Will you navigate through the Whispering Week unscathed, uncover the secrets within your father's research, and devise a plan to eradicate these monsters? Or will you succumb to their terror and become their next meal?
Information:
Before playing the map, ensure that your FOV is set to 80.
This map is only playable in single-player mode!
Turn off your music and leave only sounds on; you'll need it to hear the environment around you.
Adjust your brightness setting to "Moody".
Make sure to set your "Render Distance" to 30 chunks!
To interact with the items in your inventory, press "Q" to execute their function. Some of these items have small descriptions when hovered over.
