FNF Corruption: Night Trouble is a Friday Night Funkin' mod based on the Corruption universe, in which a virus has spreaded and has infected the main characters. In this take, characters created by the community are included in this chaos, answering the question of how would the story change if they were present. The mod includes Whitty, Carol and Sunday, who are related to each other, so the story is more interesting.

The mod is being made with Codename Engine and the gameplay is estimated to be 1+ hour long. Since this project is ambitious, we decided to split it in two parts, so the development isn't chaotic and we're more organized.

Lemon Demon has been corrupted by dark energy from the moon, and his plans have changed. He was filled with thirst of power and he was granted that power to spread it everywhere. Boyfriend and Girlfriend were his target, so when they went to the mall to celebrate Christmas, he attacked. Almost everyone was corrupted and he was successful.

Pico was able to escape from the mall, however Lemon Demon noticed and he ordered Boyfriend to follow him. They fought, however Pico couldn't bring himself to fight his old friend and he lost to them.

Today, the Corruption is attacking the city and citizens are getting alerted. Carol and Sunday tried to escape but they were too slow, Pico already found them.

The mod's first release. Our plans are that it releases LATE 2025-EARLY 2026.

It will include the mod's first two weeks, and 4 extra songs for Freeplay. Here's everything detailed.

STORY MODE

Prologue

The first week, it will contain one song: Invasion.

Invasion: Pico attacks Carol and Sunday in their house. At the end, Carol tries to use her powers but a great amount of corrupts arrive and they use strings to prevent Carol from using her powers. They both lose.

Whitty, after he realized what was going on, he quickly went to where Carol and Sunday lived to save her, but he was too late. In rage, he screamed, however that alerted the corrupts near there that Whitty was there, so he decided to hide from them.

Week 1: The Night of Trouble

The second week of this part, and it will contain four songs: Fate, Instigation, Hellraiser and Blowing Up.

Fate: Whitty, when he was hiding from the corrupts, he went to an abandoned train station, where he could stay for a time. Boyfriend saw him entering the station, and he followed him. Whitty tried to sleep but Boyfriend's presence woke him up. Then, there was no other choice than fight him.

After the fight, Lemon Demon searches Pico and tells him about Whitty, how would be a great weapon on the Corruption and Boyfriend couldn't win alone against him, so Pico went to the train station to corrupt Whitty.

Instigation: After the fight, Whitty tries to talk with Boyfriend, however he doesn't listen to him and that pisses Whitty more. His plan changed, he needed to reach his limit and turn into Ballistic. Then, Pico arrived and he shooted Whitty, with no more effect than just make him more angry. Whitty is getting more powerful due to his wrath, however not enough to transform. The heat is slowly creating fire on the station.

FREEPLAY

There will be extra songs in Freeplay which no one has relation with each other, however each one will be unique and different, giving more variated content.

Playmate: This is Friend.FLA's song, however with a different backstory. Friend.FLA is obsessed with rap battles and if their opponents don't want to "play" with him, he just kills them and goes back to retry. Whitty is ready for his attack and survives his beast form's attack, however now he needs to fight him face to face.

Plushed: Initially an April Fools joke with Boyfriend and Whitty as plushies, however now it's a fun song with funny and random events. You can buy the NT plushies with 5 NT dollars, and how do you get them? That's the fun part, you can't!

Hellflames: What if Whitty was in Pico's place in Blood Moon from the original Corruption mod? Boyfriend and Girlfriend must face and actually fight Corrupted Whitty in his Nexus form.

Infernal Nexus: Here's a What if? scenario from this mod. What if Whitty arrived to Carol's house earlier? He must fight all the corrupts in there and even Corrupted Carol herself. Due to the chaos, Boyfriend will join the battle.

The final part of the mod and the full experience. It will contain the final week and 3 more freeplay songs.

We won't give too much information about it to avoid spoilers, but it will be more ambitious than the first part, since we will focus more on quality than quantity.
