Explore a Real Time 2D Universe with planets, asteroids with gravity and Newtonian Mechanics! Travel between planets using gravity assists or powerful engines. Jump faster than light between star systems.
Dock at multiple space stations, refuel and try to survive. Trade, spy, attack enemy ships. Maintanance of your ship and systems: shields, engines, oxygen. Service your ship to make it airworthy. Redirect the ship's energy to the appropriate systems to efficiently complete the tasks.
Features:
Realistic Gravity Physics: All movable objects are moving according Newtonian Mechanics.
Real Time Universe: planets, asteroids, stations are orbiting around center star and have specyfic orbit
Docking: If you run out of fuel You can dock to nearest station to refuel your ship and replenish supplies
Orbit around planets: You can use orbit maneuvers to travel without wasting fuel.
Fight against enemies: use blasters, railguns, rockets and countermeasures to defeat your opponents.

This feature was added to avoid too many projectiles during game and in order to avoid memory overload.

Currently We work on blaster animation and on bullet physics. Now we have blaster bullet animation. Next step is calculate bullet position in World Coordinates.

We implemented gravity to our game "The Orbiter". We use Newtonian Mechanics to simulate orbit motion. Everything is simulated in real time.
Also It is possible to change ship on orbit if you run out of fuel :)
