Wow, this game gave me chills for being a simple platformer with a stick figure. The music really added so much to the simple world, it feels sad. I love story games and even though this doesn't have any story, or an ending that I know of, I feel like I am living through this stick figure in a broken world as detailed as undertale. The gameplay is weird but for a scratch game is amazing. What I am trying to say Tadpole is that you have tallant you might not even know about, its beautiful really. I tryed to make a game once in scratch and I am very proud of it, its what saved my life honestly. I don't know your story or who you are, but keep at it. Your doing great. 
The Pit (1.2.1)
You have fallen into this weird pit with doors, ladders and caves in it. Can you make it back up?
Controls:
A, D / arrows left, right - move left or right
W, S / arrows up, down - climb up or down a ladder
R - respawn to the latest checkpoint
W / up arrow / Z - jump (1 Essence required)
Click the screen / space / hyphen (-) - dash (2 Essence required)
