There is an issue with the game.
when you named the executable file

you forgot to rename the Virus Simulator_Data to
V̡̦ͭ̾̂I͚͐͟R̤̥̺͚̉͗̍̃́Ṷ͚̣͎̺̣̪Ŝ͎̦̌ͬ̕ͅ ̊͛̾҉̱͈̞͚̱̘̘S̽ͫ̊I̮̤̫̮̻ͬͥͬ̋͜M̊̎̈́̄͝U̴̞͓̠̰̲ͧ͋̀ͮͭL̸̤̄A͉ͬ̃T͖̱͈̩̞̙̯ͩͣͯ̈́ͥO̸̞͈̻̜R̨̆͌̓_Data
and because of this the game crashes and says that the data folder was not found and results in a game that doesn't work. I manually fixed this by proceeding to rename just the executable to what the data folder was called and the game worked fine. Doing the opposite and naming the data folder to what the executable was called also works too. Hope this helps!

This game has been cancelled. I had every intention to finish it, but I realized it required too much manpower. For example it took me multiple months to create just the interface of the game. For that reason, I'm sad to say that this game is cancelled ;(
