Ok that golden temple is not small, I'd say pretty average to me, in fact I would say it is actually quite big if you ask me, absolutely enormous golden temple IN MY HONEST OPINION.
Hello!
I started to create this game back in the April 2011 Ludum Dare competition for the theme of "It's dangerous to go alone take this!". After struggling with it for several weeks, I said screw it, and decided to go open source. The reason this wasn't released sooner is due to memory problems. I have a zip file with the game attached below. Granted, the engine isn't perfect, but at least it's got some basics down. And hey, if you think you can make it better, go right ahead! And, on that note, ENJOY!
CONTROLS: Use the ARROW keys to move. Press X or SPACE to jump. Press the UP ARROW key to perform a gravity shift when necessary.
DEVELOPER CONTROLS:
-At title screen, press the DOWN Arrow key to activate the time trial interface.
-At the stage: Press the N key to follow the mouse.
-At the stage: Press W to be taken to the top of the stage.
-At the stage: Click the mouse to move the character whereever the mouse is.
STORY: After hearing a rumor that there's a smaller golden temple other then the one in his village, our protaganist heads off to find it. After seeing that it is too small to even enter, he attempts to touch it. He finds himself thrown into a seemingly impossible maze! A voice says to him: "It is dangerous to go alone. Take the blue stones with you. Or else." Obeying the voice, he collects a blue stone floating above his head attempting to make his way to the top of the temple...
In the zip:
-The entire flash develop project!
-the dame map file!
-all the music and sound!

LICENSE: You are allowed to modify and or use the GAME'S ENGINE to create your own GAMES. You are NOT allowed to use the art or sound assets in YOUR own GAMES. The ART and SOUNDS were created by me. The MUSIC was created by different artists with which you will need to get YOUR OWN permission for using. (With the EXCEPTION of the track that is found here on newgrounds.) Finally, if you THINK AND OR KNOW it's wrong, DON'T DO IT!
Project created using version 2.43 of Flixel.
