What do you think?

The glitches may have been fixed, but the main problem remains: the gameplay. That's the real issue with the game. The entire gameplay is sitting, waiting for someone to come and put the mask on when they arrive. There's no real challange. No power to manage, no Music Box to rewind, nothing to check on camera. You could play with the mask alone.

Good game. Power runs out pretty quickly though.

In the original TRTF 1, there is a very overlooked character who isn't in any remakes or even recodes. On Night 6, what most people assume to be Golden Freddy is infact a seperate enemy named Murderer, who is heavily implied to be the Purple/Phone Guy wearing a Golden Freddy suit to attack the guard (this is heavily implied by a newspaper at the end of TRTF 1 which strangely isn't included in this game). In this recode, it is simply Golden Freddy who attacks you on Night 6. I assume you didn't know about this when recoding the game, but if you ever update this game could you please add Murderer as an enemy on Night 6? If you look at the Night 6 code in the TRTF 1 mfa, you will know what I'm talking about. Most people haven't completed TRTF 1 because they likely just play this game instead, but this game is actually missing a very vital story point from the OG that I feel gets very overlooked and should be included (along with the newspaper), especially since its trying to be faithful to the OG game.

got all 4 stars.. cool game! night 8 was probably my favorite bc shadow lockjaw has a cool and fun mechanic

Ever wanted to experience The Return to Freddy's Classic / FNaF 3 Fan Made without the bugs and glitches? You've come to the right place. This project is a faithful recode of the original game with all of the original sounds, assets and gameplay mechanics intact. As such, there have been no alterations to the original gameplay loop, flawed as it may be, as that's not the aim of this project. Well, except for that secret thing on night 8 ;)

And to note a few not-so-important things if you're curious, first of all, I didn't add any of the mini-games. The way they were made in the original game is a complete and utter mess. Furthermore I consider them too rare for their addition to be worthwhile under these circumstances. Second of all, the recoded version of the game can't read your data from the original game. That's because the original game uses an entirely different saving format that's completely obsolete and cannot be worked with. Another thing I did is that I left some quirks from the original game. Like the fan moving a bit when you use the lights or the doors wasting 1% power when you open and close them. Since I don't think these things affect the gameplay (you have no reason to spam the doors and run out of power, right?), I left them in because I find them charming. So they aren't real "bugs" in the recoded version. I also noticed that the final version of TRTF 1 uses the FNaF 1 ambience instead of FNaF 2's which was used in earlier versions. Since I liked the usage of FNaF 2's ambience more, I used it instead.

The timing of the mask in TRTF Recoded is pretty forgiving, maybe too much for how simple the game is. Would you like to see FNaF 2 type system where you get less reaction time as the game goes on? Maybe as a difficulty option? What are your thoughts?

I made a functional volume bar for the first time, now I know how hell feels like
