Check out "Tunnel Runner" in my Gamejolt compilation #4
I love it! Beat my score :-)
Nice and simple. The controls feel responsive. Needs inverted controls.
Visuals are great. Audio goes nicely with the game as well. Fun and challenging and definitely on point with theme. Nice work.
Check out my game if you have a chance

Oh Yes! Super cool visual style. Works well with the music! Good job!
Race through a tunnel at high speeds in your space ship.
The game uses a control scheme that I've been thinking about for a while but which I've never been able to work into a game before. You aren't able to move left and right, but you are able to roll and move up and down, so you are constantly twisting and weaving in order to navigate the course. The art style is meant to be reminiscent of the old vector-based arcade games like BattleZone or Tempest (or the Vectrex!). The controls are also meant to be reminiscent of an old-time arcade racer. Those old racers are built around a "fake 3d" model. Those games are easier to control because your vehicle is always facing towards the front of the track, but you can still fall out of curves if you don't turn. Unfortunately, modern graphics cards have really poor performance when trying to draw things in "fake 3d." Instead, the game uses real 3d for everything, but I spent a while tuning the controls to feel like those old racer games still.
This is an entry for the 3-day Indies vs Gamers 2015 gamejam.
