Undertale: But there was another is an unofficial sequel to Undertale by Toby Fox, and has been in development for about a month now, and it has... Wait. SPOILER WARNING FOR UNDERTALE! If you haven't played the original game, and you plan on doing so, stop reading right now! This description has some Undertale spoilers! Alright, first off, let me say something. This is not a unoriginal Chara/first human game, this is has nothing to do with Asriel (not directly anyway) or Gaster. That is Toby Fox's story, and it's up to him to finish it off, and tie up any loose ends. This game's story happens after the neutral ending in which the human did not kill anyone/anything, but in that ending, due to the human almost killing Asgore, Flowey killed him. With the human souls gone, and the monster king gone, the kingdom fell into despair. But, with the leadership of their queen, they have gotten used to life in the Underground, life without a hope of leaving. You are a human that falls down into the underground, but with one problem (at least as a player). You lack DETERMINATION. Your soul is white. Your soul is EMPTYNESS. Now, i suggest you stop reading now if you want to play the game spoiler free. SPOILER ALERT FOR Undertale: But there was another! Ok, this is going to be the first section of the game spoiled, so you have been warned. As soon as you fall down, you meet Flowey, who kills you. Yeah, no joke. He tries to absorb your soul, but, because it has no trait (justice, bravery, etc.) Flowey gets no power from it, and it shatters outright after a few seconds. Infuriated, Flowey tries it a second, and a third time, but to no avail. So, he decides to guide the human through the underground, for the human to unlock the true power of their soul, before taking it. Flowey will act like the save points in Undertale, and will restart the game every time the human dies. The usual Asgore speech will be replaced by Flowey laughing at the human and will get progressively more angry the more you die. Due to Flowey thinking that the human doesn't remember through resets, he will talk to you when you re-spawn, and say things like: ''Well, you died. Next battle, DO THE OPOSITE OF WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO DO!'' That's all for now, i will write more about the plot next time i update, and more after that. After the next 2-3 updates, i should upload the demo, and next update after that is the game!
