A game that requires just one button! That was awesome! Reminded me a lot of the old Gameboy metroid game... which I'm pretty sure was on purpose. Takes a little patience, and or rage, but it's a lot of fun!

What platform is needed to run this game ?
Interesting one-key gameplay. With just one button you can move the spacesheep in 4 directions, shoot , accelerate and decelerate.
It was hard to see the exit at the bottom on the first screen but after that I manage to beat the game.
If you upload the code to github I can help you upgrading to the latest version of the engine (it fixes the sprites getting splitted into two and the wrong tile in the bg sometimes, and it is a bit faster too)
I tried to play it with Gamejolt's integrated emulator. I got to the start screen where it says "Press A", but pressing A on my keyboard didn't do any good. Do I need to connect a gamepad to play it?
Awesome!
Velcroid
Explore planet Zeh-baas with clunky 1-key controls, bouncing around rocks (sheep-fu at its finest) and getting stuck to velcro moss in the jungles of Bleatstar.
Kill some Velcroids on your way.
And have fun. You're a spacesheep, damn it.
A GameBoy game made for the #bitbitjam4.
How to play
Quick press A to change direction.
Hold A to Boost and move the Spacesheep.
(After Unlocking the Plasma Baaster): Press A to shoot a energy ball backwards.
