I should be studying for my finals from History of 20th century but i'm playing this and its actually pretty educational. Also wonderful design!
Always happy to find game with such a unique experience!
Great job guys! Magnificent art style, in Picasso style, narration that feels intriguing and truthful, it's admirable how you recreated the atmosphere of those terrible times, with many different perspectives of the people involved, which everyone reacts his own way. Overall is a nice experience, a great example on how games and history can blend together. And the idea that finally, even here in Italy, indie gaming is becoming considered valuable, as for the fact you had been properly supported!
I made a video about your game:
Under The Resistance Flag - https://youtu.be/okXOjM0mvGc
Since I'm italian too, I wanted to promote your work, as many people should play this. Good luck with your future as indie developers!
Awesome little game. Even if it did lead me to butcher the beautiful language of my ancestry. To all Italians, i am so sorry. Regardless of my trespasses, i loved this game. Thank you very much dev, i can plainly see why this was the featured game of the day. I hope you dont mind, i recorded you game for a Lets Play on my channel, please enjoy (PS, i am so so sorry)
Grandissimi... Bel gioco sopratutto per me che sono in una delle zone più colpite da questo fenomeno.
As today is Liberation Day I posted my Let's Play video of it.
The game is amazing, it shows something different from all World War games because this one is about the people on the streets that try to survive another day, trying to change things.
I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for making it.
"Venti Mesi" ("Twenty Months") is a collection of playable stories about Italian Resistance and Liberation from Nazi-Fascism.

A narrative docu-game made with the support of Coop Lombardia for the City of Sesto San Giovanni's project "Oggi, 25 aprile 1945", in collaboration with Francesco Fontana (original soundtrack), voiced by Germano Lanzoni.
