Cool! There's only one enemy type and bomb launcher but the levels are varied to make good game
One bug I discovered is that when throwing bomb to an enemy, the explosion could destroy his weapon but not the enemy himself. Yet that disarmed enemy could shoot
The other bug is that if player falls off the border, the game doesn't kill the player and allow player to move around. Good thing I can press R to restart :)

Introduction

Wannabe Shootout is a 2D action/shooting platform game trying to copy a no longer existing game named Shootout developed by Acegikmo. Go left, go right, jump and aim n shoot with the mouse.

The story

The origin Shootout (or at least the one I played) was developed by Acegikmo. It was very fun indeed but unfortunately he was not careful with his stuff and it got lost. And that is why I've made a this wannabe edition.

The deal

I would love if someone builds some levels to this game. I have provided the source files for download (at the official website). The license is kopimi which means that it wants to be copied.

You will need Game Maker 8.0 pro to use the source file. That is not a free tool, but downloadable from TPB etc.
