Is this game a remake of One Night at Luigi's (LuigiKid.EXE)?
Saw Luigikid's video, and this is truly an example of a game that just watching a let's play doesn't do justice. The whole time I was playing I was on edge, even though I knew what to expect. Masterful atmosphere and monster designs, you've truly outdone yourself my guy!
Bro this looks so creepy and good at the same time to be a 3D remake on a old school Fnaf.exe Game
The game was nice and short.
I was a bit confused at first but I got the hang of it (I died to Peach a lot).
I did not understand what turning off and on the lights really did aside from just Mario being there. Yoshi and Toad we're fairly straight forward, and the coin progress was a neat idea.
It did feel very FNAF-ish, which makes sense after seeing that it was a remake of "One Night at Luigi's" (although I've never played that particular game for myself).
That last jumpscare at the end did get me, I was honestly thinking I was gonna go outside but I guess not.
But overall I had a nice time.
I'll upload a video of me playing it soon enough.
Edit: So I went back, and turns out I actually missed the first jumpscare and I thought I just died and got transported to the evil place out of no where.
Welcome Luigi 1.1
Welcome Luigi!
Ladies and Gentlemen, watch as our newest Luigi braves the stage! Cheer him on as he attempts to survive our puppets and collect all the coins! How many can he get before they get him? Stay and find out!
This game made proudly for the #Luigikid4EXEChallenge!
My goal with this game was to create an atmospheric horror game with 2 major design philosophies in mind;
1 - No blood, and instead use atmosphere and mechanics to create tension.
2 - No dialogue, and explain gameplay and story through intuitive game design exclusively.
I hope you enjoy!
I poured a lot into this project and hope it exceeds all your expectations!
Special thanks to Jake Crowther, Binks86, and GrapeDew for their awesome testing!
