I see now what the other commenters were referring too, this game looks absolutely gorgeous and the tone is immaculate however the game itself is a slog and is not fun whatsoever. It's difficult to explain where this game fails gameplay wise compared to other UNDERTALE Fan Games but I will try my best to explain it in a constructive manner on why it fails from a gameplay standpoint.
The main reason that I believe this to be true is because of the attacks themselves. Generally in any other fangame you would have a difficult attack that you need precision, technical skill, and memorization to overcome, then you could survive said attack due to your actions as the player. Where this game deviates from that path is the attacks fundamentally don't follow these concepts, you are unable to enact precision or memorization because of how fast the attacks are, how many of them there are, the lack of direction on where the player must go to avoid the attack, and the blinding amount of visual effects happening on screen.
Let's tackle these one at a time, the attacks are so fast that it's nearly unreactable and the only way for you to be able to dodge these attacks is by wasting your time brute forcing the fight until you get lucky and accidentally find out where you were suppose to go to dodge the attack which synergizes greatly, or should I say horribly with how many attacks are on the screen at once. I have literally no idea what is happening 80% of the time because there's just a massive pile of bones on my screen that are moving very quickly giving me basically zero time to react to the metric shit ton of damage I am about to receive, and maybe this issue could be compensated for, like most other fan games, with some actual direction on where you're supposed to go to avoid the attacks, it feels random and it's disorienting. Speaking of disorienting the screen effects do not make it any better, a lot of the time it zooms in and makes the bones glow bright as hell and it's just plain annoying, as much as I praise the visuals (god speed to you because you are a legend) it's completely unneeded and just makes the other problems with the gameplay that much more frustrating.
Lastly I'd like to go over what transpires after you inevitably bite the dust (pun not intended). This isn't as important as the previous issues even if I do think it still deserves some attention, but I despise having to wait so I can get to fight Sans again. You die, have to wait 7 seconds to be able to press Z to continue, you have to walk to the Chapel, you have to interact with the door and click "Yes", you have to wait a second for the fight to begin, you have to wait for the bone in the menu to leave so you don't get hit immediately on your first attack, and only THEN do you get to try again. It's a waste of time and I don't know why just pressing Z as soon as you die doesn't immediately bring you back into the fight, considering most Undertale Fan Games still haven't purged this issue to my utter bewilderment I'm pretty lenient on this one but it's deeply annoying regardless.
That is the extent of my problems with the game, I hope at the very least some of these issues are fixed in the near future because this game does have potential and if not for the problems plaguing this game it'd be pretty high up there for me. To end on a good note I will praise the visuals one last time, they are phenomenal and some of the best I've seen in any fangame for while they really pop out and set the tone for the whole fight which is amazing.
Great work on the looks of the game, have a great day, critique over.
balance & playability > looks
the game that finally answers the age old question of "what would happen if sans killed everybody"
EPILEPSY WARNING: The game features a lot of fast moving/flashing images.
