Thoughts
A pretty good classic experience. it can get repetitive since the only story events are at the beginning and end. and there are no puzzles or anything just dungeons.
the level up system does add some extra strategy to how you play.
Overall
A okay+ experience for fans of classic 8bit games.
but for what it is it did a good job.
Random
auto skip dialog is bad. should let the player choose when to continue.
the 1000 energy spell is great but. items do not spawn in rooms if you kill all enemies with it.

on the death screen it should be save not safe
at the end of the game courageous is wrong
Cool! The rooms are pretty much similar just using different tileset but the dungeons are randomized enough to give different feel

Claim your rightful throne and scare the wits outta the wealthy merchants on a solo adventure through randomly generated Zelda dungeons! Ye Legend Of Ye Pirate Princess cast you in the role of a young girl who learns her beloved grandfather was really the king of pirates! Having being munitied by his best friend Kain Barbarossa, he has been robbed of the pirateking badge-of-office, the legendary item known as the Jolly Roger. A surge of ghost pirates summoned by Barbarossa's unjust use of the Jolly Roger plagues the seven seas, and you're the only one who can stop them! Pick up the family heirloom sword and set to the seas in a quest for all five pieces of the Jolly Roger needed to summon Barbarossa's ghost ship and end his foul reign. Crawl around in randomized dungeons seeking out keys to advance towards the captain's chamber, and get all the treasure along the way just because it's shiny. To your help is a greedy spell merchant... and the guy on the other side of the keyboard.
This is an action game with RPG elements: defeat enough enemies, and you'll level up, free to spend points in any stat you desire in order to customize your character to fully match your playing style. You can purchase several different items ranging from one-use healing potions to potent magic attacks and boomerangs stunning enemies letting you get a cheap hit in. Dungeons can be taken on in any order and it's possible to grind before taking on a boss in case you find it too difficult.
