0.2 Buttons!

took an hour and a half, but i got some menu buttons going.

they dont do anything when you click on them yet, but they have a border, text, and colour. the border and colour have the ability to change colour when moused over to add to the flow. (i hate when buttons dont react on mouseover)

Buttons added:

  1. new game

  2. load game

  3. options

  4. credits

I also added some music for atmosphere.

2 screenshots added to the game page.

  1. dev warning

  2. main menu

what i intend to work on next:

  1. clearing the menu to make way for the game itself

  2. ability to go back to menu from the game

  3. an icon (i already have one made, but haven’t done anything with it)

  4. ability to make buttons with smaller text (for in-game use.)

3 and 4 should only take a few minutes to complete. 1 should be relatively simple (so far i have coded in mind of this) but i may have some issues with 2.

wish me luck :D

Where do these posts get views from?

Not tide related. Using maya and might put it into unity.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
