Sound Conversion
The engine and editor were having memory issues, using well over a gigabyte of RAM while in-match. This has been fixed by converting every sound file in the game to an .ogg file. The game dropped about 30 megabytes in size!
Patch Notes
Changed Escaper to Survivor, technically Escaper isn’t a word.
Disabled Winter Event music (was forgotten about in 0.2.0)
Added some more error outputs, this should hopefully help figure out the disconnection issues.
Fixed a bug where the AI killer entity would spawn in the non-AI game mode.
Fixed a bug where if you collided with an object while sprinting, it would only stop the running sound effect but would not reset your speed to default.
Fixed a bug where the user could still interact with UI elements under the Settings screen (connect to a lobby, etc).
Added the Withered Map item. Travel to the killers spawn, pick up the map and use it to show vital information.
Added Camera effects.
Added a randomly chosen spawn for killer and survivor.
Added a new killer ability, known as Rage. Every 30 seconds the killer gains +2 movement speed. This is reset to default once an ability is used.
Killer now has a base 10 units movement speed.
Teleport moves the killer up to 20 units while in teleport mode.
Fixed a bug where the game was supposed to set the killer at 25 units when exiting Stealth.
Teleport is now disabled for the first 20 seconds of the match. (This is to prevent the killer from teleporting right to one of the 2 survivor spawns.
Added Take a Breather, after the Survivor uses Sprint they will gain an extra charge every 45 seconds.
Fixed traps, they set correctly but weren’t able to be interacted with.
Removed the stun effect, replaced it with a perspective effect.
Added a splash screen.
