1.2.0 Update (Beta)

The Clickteam Fusion 2.5 GameJolt API Update is finally here!

The entire thing has been re-written, and is better than ever. Here is the changelog for the 1.2.0 Update:

  • No longer using xLua, String Tokenizer and INI++, just Get Object and String Parser

  • Works on Windows, HTML5, and hopefully many more (Needs checking)

  • New Output Engine: Info is stored in Active Objects e.g. Users, Scores, Data, etc.

  • New Input Engine: Enter commands in a string, e.g. “fetch user CROS” will fetch that user and create a new object with the returned info.

  • Built in Login command (“login username user.token”)

There are some requirements, however:

  • Possibly Build 285.7: Latest Beta is required (Build 285.7 and above)

  • Get Object : Built in as of Build 285.7

  • String Parser: Downloadable through the Extension Manager

The Update is available to download, soon the API page will be updated and the Forum thread updated too on how to use the new 1.2.0 API.
