Hey everyone.
Been a hot minute since I did one of these, but it felt appropriate given it's Christmas and the end of the year. Just wanted to give my thoughts overall and an update on where I've been.
In short, life's been interesting; University started up in September and I've since had a part-time job that took up some time, which definitely helped gain work experience. On the game side of things, oh boy! I've been quiet on here because I don't want to say anything that isn't concrete, or give false hopes on what's coming down the pipeline.
Tales of the Bunny Man's release was a huge staple personally, because it's that type of game I can go "Hey, I helped with that and let me tell you all the cool things about it." confidently.
And it's been said that a remaster isn't out of possible outcomes for the future, which is true. Now that it's been a year since my old PC died, it felt right to redo the graphics for fun, which I did.
Staying true to the source while going further in detail and keeping things familiar was the main motivator, and I think it worked out. This is so we can have something consistent with what comes next for the series, which will be fun.
TL;DR: Remaster is not concrete, but the sequel is.
Sparky' Diner
That name has been floating around and it is the name of the sequel, but don't let it fool you; it's not conventional.
While I can't say much on this because we want to save official game reveals for when the gameplay itself is done (which won't be for a bit), it will be much smaller, more bite-sized of an experience. You'll have the staple day segment for a more laid-back time.
The vibe overall is weird, but calm compared to give a small break from the chaos.
And for those not in the know, Sparky's been here the whole time. (Yes really.)
You'll see more of the old model for a good while before the updated and new one starts rearing his dog head around.
Handsome fella.
2025 looks to be more eventful when it comes to Bunny Man-oriented stuff, especially since the team all took a small break after July to calm down and go back to taking it easy. Development on Sparky's is going really well and the gameplay is somewhat close to done, but no percentages. After that, who knows?
Anyways, we'll see you in 2025 for Sparky's Diner. Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year.
Dr. Cross
