(Devlog no. 2)


the progress of the game:

*** menus / settings / credits: 100% completed ***

everything related to the menu and settings is completely finished. the only thing left to implement is the "Alternate Track" setting, which, um...

may take a while.

*** cutscenes: 90% completed ***

all cutscenes are completed, excepting the cutscenes in Necroptosis and the cutscenes after Necroptosis.

*** overworld: 100% completed ***

all rooms have been completely finished with collisions

*** necroptosis: 35% completed ***

progress on necroptosis is not going as fast as we would like it to. right now our main problems are:

- coming up with ideas for attacks

- and fixing the lag and stutters in the battle engine

*** total game completion: around 82.486% ***

every part of the game up to Necroptosis has been completely finished. so, yeah...it's almost done.

oh, and remember how i said the game was open-source? yeah, i wasn't kidding. right now you can play a demo.

note: this is an old demo! it doesn't reflect what the game will look like on release. as of the moment i'm writing this a LOT of stuff has been added since then...but this still shows most of what the game will look like.
