A lot has happened!

It's been a few months and a lot has happened in my life since then... I live in a completely different state so it's been hard to get any work done but I've managed to get a lot of engine work done!

Here are the highlights:

-Reworked circle lighting

-Added the ability to use filters which are stored in color data

-Added shorthand functions that don't require the use of "new"

-Added text functions to split strings to a certain widths (useful for multi-line text boxes)

-Added color conversion functions for converting hex to rgba and css colors to hex (works for any colors)

-Added image smoothing quality settings

-Even more! (I'm not listing everything lmao)

Work on me and my friends game is coming along. I finished the inventory system, pickup menu, effect, etc. As you can see for the pic above I was testing the lighting system. I made a light and attached it to the player and changed the comp to "destination-in" and set the filter to "brightness(200%)". I also set the opacity to 0.75. It's not staying in the game but it looks cool! I also did a lot of work to the level editor but I'll save that for a future post.

Anyway that's it for now hopefully I'll have some updates for you soon!
