So okay, I found someone (or well they came to me so like sdafgysda) to help with this idea I had (@Starbruhz
) and I'm kinda hitting an experimental stage to finally try and do my own projects, outside of FNAF.
I'm not cancelling my fangames, but I am saying I am gonna be distancing a bit cuz I've been burnt out lately and still am cuz that's all I've been doing, I'm hoping with these it'd give me the motivation to go back to these fangames. I still have passion for them, I won't get tired of FNAF as it's fallen as a childhood game at this rate lol
I will still do what I planned to do so don't worry.
I'll elaborate on what the project is eventually, not rn as it's too early. But I will explain some plans for it:
me and star plan to do a very short and free tech demo of the game, release it here first (in unreal). It'll be super basic but hoping to have enough to feel like a game. It'll be a horror game, obv lmao. We plan to once we release this free tech demo to have donations set and we'll listen to the community to see what they'd like to see and if it grows the potential (kinda like what hello neighbor did or hell even early beta subnautica) then that'd give the green light for me and star to build upon the game and make it larger and more experimental. I feel starting off with a HUGE/EXPENSIVE game is a bad idea, so doing this feels a little better especially if people see the potential enough to provide support. As I said prior, it's too early to speak much of it, but it is enough to say we are planning to make it happen. It'll get a proper reveal once we get things setup, and when it does release don't think of that as the entire full game, I would love to one day expand a story for it and many other things, but before all that a small/basic free tech demo makes the most sense and having optional support if people wanna see it grow like we do. See y'all soon on it!
as for my fangames, expect updates soon. :P
