After a surprisingly short discussion with @LinkIncGames awhile back, we've decided to do a crossover.

I'm happy to announce that The Flipside's Mira Fletcher will appear in Outcasts!


I've discussed Outcasts A LOT with LinkInc. I've gotten advice on a lot of different concepts, ideas on how to put the map together, suggestions for the menus, and, above all, he suggested I add side quests to increase playtime.

This made me feel really stupid. I was absolutely struggling to get something together that'd fill the game's runtime, and I had overlooked one of the most common solutions. Not to mention it's closer to @ERROR989 's version of the game, which was much more about the journey and the people you meet than the end goal.

I immediately began plotting out what new areas I'd have to make for side missions, and the first we solidified was, of course, Mira Fletcher. It's the least I could do for LinkInc after all the help he's offered.

There's actually been a track on the game's OST on Bandlab for over a month that'll play during said side mission.

Anyway, there's no point in continuing to fluff this post up, so there you have it! Mira Fletcher will be in Outcasts!

The Outcasts soundtrack is back!

And there are a few changes in place as well.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Finally got my hands on a PS2 copy of Pac Man World 2 after like a decade of being deprived of this game.

Peak nostalgia.
