whenever I play a game in chrome on gamejolt I get a gateway failure message. I have to play the game in internet explorer and then reload it into chrome in order to play it. Since the method for displaying pngs in game maker studio 1.4 is not supported by internet explorer on gamejolt. most of my games are broken depending on what the version of game maker studio was at the time. It’s actually not a problem of optimization, the game’s simply aren’t allowed to load. this problem doesn’t crop up so much on itch.io. even ios works on itch.io however only games that use up very little resources are able to run. this is more to do with ram and screen resolution than anything else. kingdom hearts the islands did use to run even with audio on ios 10 but the bloat added to the updates made the phone unusable for playing my html5 games. when my html5 games run they don’t seem to overheat the phone like a lot of graphical intensive games do. however, I really shouldn’t compare monopoly for ios to my most low tech game.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
