Almost finished!

This week, I worked a lot on my main project, Pixel Kingdom. Its online alpha release is coming close now! The main mechanics work, I only need to work on a few small things. Then I will be able to show the game to the world!
Please note that it is an alpha release which means that the game is far from ready and will have a lot of unfinished or unavailable elements.

I also worked on ‘Boo!’, this was my entry for the GameMaker Community Jam 11, a 72-hour contest to make a game. The theme was Monsters, so I made a game about a creature that scares kids. Wanna try it? Well, it’s available on Game Jolt RIGHT NOW! This game is still a Work In Progress, but I’d like to show you the idea of the game. The graphics aren’t complete yet and more levels will be added. Please try it out! :)

See you next week.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
