Making the first level, yeah I know I’m still doing that, and I’m mostly testing out stuff and prototyping and testing some level layouts and such.
Re adding shadows and making lighting, I’ll probably do this a bit later on, which it is still important, but it’s not really a necessity at the current moment
Fixing the crouching/sliding, it works fine, I just need to make it to where the player doesn’t get up when there’s a block on top of them
Major one - Completely Redo the Camera System, the Camera Currently is extremely simple, but there’s still some issues with it and how it operates, especially with levels, which a main problem with it being that if the player is in the back of the level and the camera still moves forward, since there’s fencing keeping the player from moving out, the player will clip through the level, and I don’t really ant that happening anymore, plus the camera moving forward when you’re stopped and can’t move further is pretty annoying. So I’m gonna redo the entire camera system so I can stop that from happening, as making the camera more easy to use and control, such as adding behaviors for following the player and being in certain positions and such. Which will make it a LOT easier to utilize the camera also for cutscenes, boss levels, and just make the camera feel more dynamic, smooth, and easier to use when I’m making stuff that uses it. As well as doing something similar for the world map camera
Annnddd yeah! That’s pretty much it, there’s totally still more, but I’ll keep those a secret for now,
Also another thing,
This stuff may or may not take me a while because of well, college, but I’ll work on it the opportunity that I have when I’m not too busy with work
