Animatronic designs explained

Hey guys, I just wanted to address some of the concerns regarding on how the animatronics were designed. Unlike my previous games, I aimed Phase 2 to have a really psycho-horror feel to it. In order to achieve that effect, we decided to create the animatronics on how they would look like in real life. Real life animatronics don't look cartoony and appealing at all, instead they look really awkward which adds to the scare factor of it, the unnerving feel when you look at it. That is why the animatronics that you have seen in the teasers don't quite match up with the ones in the previous game. I hope you guys understand.

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
