Another dev log has been released for the new progress of the past week. Check for a ton of new information regarding how the game's going! (02/26/2019)

Hello, everyone! Sorry for the kind of late dev log but in all honesty, I’ve been doing quite a bit of extra work but didn’t want to announce things that aren’t finished or definite. So without further ado, let’s get started!

More Map Finished:
The map around the start began to feel a bit fake with the newer additions in the newly built parts of the subway. This beginning is what was seen in the trailer but I wanted to change somethings anyways. A major difference was that nearly all of the rooms changed into newer offices that can be fully explored through different parts of the game. The offices were designed in previous versions of the game but never got added until now. These offices also contain tons of easter eggs and callbacks to previous games as well as serious lore hints that you may want to pick up on! All in all, these were crucial features that needed to be added in the game and finally found a way in.

Newer Monster AI:
Some large leaps have been done to accurately portray a truly intelligent monster in the game. This monster had used a script I bought in an asset pack but this week, I’ve severely updated the script for a smoother and more intelligent AI. This includes ways to properly distract the monster and increased stealth mechanics so the creature won’t be seen. Keep in mind that this creature is not like many other horror game monsters. It is being coded so that it stalks you and waits for the perfect time to strike. It is more likely to strike in places away from hiding areas and in straight halls where it will outrun you. This creature is not to be messed with and extreme caution should be used to traverse each dangerous level.

Increased Fear Mechanics:
???, These won’t go into too in-depth. I have added features that punish the player or scale the game’s difficulty if they resort to common fear tactics. Using the same method may also get harder as the game progresses. That’s all you guys get on this topic!

This past week has meant huge things for the game! I hope everyone is excited but some of these changes might explain the current lack of screenshots while things are looking unfinished or rough still. Hopefully, much more will come out over the span of the next week or so! A new trailer showing gameplay and more story elements may also be coming in pretty soon! Sit tight and bye!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Another house i made long time ago.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Quantum precognition is one of the most powerful cards. End game cards & equipment. Demo/alpha build boss is no match for this deck.

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
