OK, some of you might be wondering why I removed Redacted from GameJolt a while ago.

Redacted was a mod that I was proud of, but it's a hackjob mess that made it impossible to update properly. I considered redoing it in GameMaker, but I scrapped it. I gave up on everything FNaF related. Why? Here's why:

These two games killed my desire to do anything more for FNaF as a whole. It's not a case that involves the creators directly. Without going into too much detail, these games were TOO good and outclassed what I made previously. Topping with the community's recent behavior towards the franchise and how no new fangames are announced or coming out that gained excitement like those games did, I feel like I was too late and my future FNaFventures would be DOA.

This is why I killed Redacted and Freddy's Programming Kit. It's fitting because the former means "removed", which I didn't know at the time because I based it on a Simon's Quest ROM hack that you've might've seen from AVGN or Egoraptor.

This isn't about popularity, but how my games stand the test of time. If people continue to be bitter about the series and no one cared about truly original FNaF projects like FPK, then I can't be bothered anymore.

That is... until recently.

Someone talked to me recently and they shared a story that happened to them a while back. Without going into details, they told me "it sucks that this happened, but I didn't give in, I kept going. Go make the stuff you want to make". It changed my thought process entirely. Go do what YOU want and do it in spite of people who want to drag you down and make you wallow in your own self doubt.

Redacted and FPK are back up now, and I'll make sure it stays that way so long as my account stands. I'm sorry for my rash decision earlier. This will not happen again.
