Aquacreep 3D screenshot update


Just started working on the first interior area of the game “Aquacreep 3D”. This first update is an early look at the “rec room” where all the characters are riding out the storm when the first encounter with the creature takes place.

Players familiar with the 2D version will notice some similar qualities.

I’m learning some lighting techniques that I feel are really paying off. In the past I usually just tossed a real-time light up in the sky as the sun and called it a day. Indoor stuff is quite a bit more involved but it’s been interesting.

I’m hoping to really take my time with this one and iron out the issues I had the first go around, so in the meanwhile, feel free to check out my other games ‘cause I’m not going to release anything playable for a while…

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

2d lighting experiment

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
