TL;DR one of his friends clicked on a scam link that got their account hacked, and then he had to change his email for something, and then he got logged out of his account on browser, desktop, and mobile, and then his account got hacked and started sending scam links.

The long story?

@Not_Ellie DM'ed him earlier today and told him that she had clicked on a random link that caused someone to gain access to her account, and it caused all of her friends' accounts to get reported, including Green Jerry's.

He would then need to send a friend request to someone (not gonna explain it here) to cancel the report, and then he did that. However, he needed to change the email from his main email to an authentication email.

But, one of the other steps was to provide payment info and if online banking was active.

After he finished the process, he got logged out of his account on all platforms he was using his account on.

The problem is he didn't copy-paste or screenshot the temporary email, and then he lost access to his account.

A few minutes later, it got hacked and then started sending scam links.

If you have him added as friends on Discord or have a mutual server with this account, ban the account from any servers it may be in, and block the scam account, otherwise you or others may suffer the same fate.
