Sup, Aaron here.
Third week now! Thanks for the 113 people following the game, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for your support!
I will repeat the following for every post, for new people: Beart Trap: Greddy's is a FNaF fan game that is being made in Godot by yours truly. Every week I'll post a new update, showcasing the progress I've made for the game. :)
Animatronic Bits
This week the current animatronic AIs have been upgraded, but there are still some bits and bobs that need to be finished. I have also drawn over 10 different sprites for the animatronics in cams and in the office entryways.
Talking about that, the biggest bulk of this progress update has been the office.
The Office
During the night, you will mostly reside inside the security office, in the south-east part of the Greddy's Forest Diner building.
The office consists of 4 different perspectives, which you will rotate around on your magnificent chair (will never be seen in-game, NEVER!). The teasers on the main page are the 4 perspectives, which are being updated each time I change something.
I won't go in detail on how the office works. I believe it is quite intuitive. I've thought of a method to facilitate orientation, I will work on it this week.
You can see the office in the video up there!
Anything else? +
Yeah, some things. I'm currently programming the "tasks" you will have to do to complete each one of Henry's trials (the equivalent of Nights or Hours in other games).
As you can see on the video, I've added sounds and ambience, but it is not polished. There are more sounds and ambience music I want to add in the future.
The cameras are fully functional! So do the circuit breaker box levers. I believe the lightning is more polished as well. I also added new details to the office.
Miscellaneous
I've watched the fourth Scream movie. The beginning is absolute cinema. The rest of the film is ok, enjoyable. Better than the third one for sure, worse than the first two.
I've also started working recently, my summer vacations are over. I work until September, and then I will start again with my studies.
I don't believe that the progress will slow down, as I'm free all the afternoons. So yeah, prepare for more updates (in a week).
That's all for now. Thanks for all the support through the likes and by following the game, I appreciate it!
Aaron Gordon
PD: OBS captured the game in a weird ratio. Technically the game will be in 1920x1080.
