This game has seen several delays, and for that I apologize, but I've been reconsidering starting from the ground up in a new engine, allowing more ambition and a better gameplay experience, but this would take significantly longer.
I've, up to now, been making the game in Turbowarp, intending it to be my last game in this engine before I move on to better and more original non-FNaF game projects.
However, this engine is inherently really limiting, and thus I'm not getting to put as much as I would like into the game, as well as coding it being a frustrating experience.
I could either finish what I have in this engine, publish it, then be done with it... or I could take a while to learn a new engine, come back to this project once I've learned the basics, and restart everything from the ground up reconstructing my dream fan-project.
A new engine may also mean a slight art style change, since the other engine I'm learning doesn't take kindly to vector art, like I've done for the game so far.
What're your thoughts? I'll put a week on the poll to give time for answers, and feel free to let me know more about what you think in the comments!
