Beta 1.3 is out! ( 21 Improvements )


Welcome to Beta 1.3!

This version comes with 21 improvements from the previous version.

Right now, our main focuses are on adjusting the learning curve and the economic variables of the game (Game Balancing). The next update will come with the more polished learning curve with 7 new story characters that we hope they should add more depth to the story-telling of the game.

5 New Features

- The player gets a notification for newly arrived civilians and their information

- Worker cost and worker efficiency in the Building Manager interface are now visualized through the pie chart. The player can see them by placing the mouse over the worker count or worker efficiency number.

- Inspect Mode: The player can now access details of each civilian character by pressing RMB while the Worker Info interface is visible.

- Perks and Talents are now explained through Inspect Mode.

- A civilian name can be modified through Inspect Mode.

7 Bug Fixes

- The list view of the Building manager is adjusted.

- Fixed the bug where sometimes, the loaded game display wrong lighting.

- Fixed the bug where Building Info Interface displays the wrong message.

- Fixed the bug where sometimes, closing down Civilian Manager Interface doesn’t make Worker Info Interface disappear.

- Fixed the bug where sometimes, restart/new game function doesn’t work.

- Fixed the bug where Happiness and Crime Rate value is shifting too fast.

- Fixed the bug where the Worker Info interface doesn't get refreshed when that character level up.

2 Fixed bugs that need verification

- Fixed the bug where 2 characters sometimes, get sorted in front of the obstacles (sprite sorting problem).

- Fixed the bug where sometimes, the character's lamp and torch animation don't get played.

7 UX Improvements

- Quest and Event notification are adjusted to be less distracting.

- New Civilians are marked red in Civilian Manager.

- Overall damage from combat is decreased.

- Road limits are visible.

- Adjusted enemy spawning rate (Experimental).

- Decrease rate of Quest and Event prompting.

- Adjusted Enemy AI running speed.

- Quests are now categorized as main/optional quests.
