Improvements:
Graphical Enhancements:
• Ari and Sean are now displayed as what has become of them after the events of the first two titles in the series; as they are now retrospectively reenacting those games out!
• The JGRS-rating before the male story-mode is no longer pixelated!
• The "TRUE" and "FALSE" buttons in both story modes have gotten a fresh paint job, and no longer sport the world's largest-and-most-misaligned pixels! In fact, the text-sprites are now in HD, just like the rest of the game's manuscript!
• The hand sprites that're shown in the beach-scenes are now HD, and have been recoloured to match Ari's and Sean's new forms!
• In Sean's story-mode, both the front- and back-sides of his Anime-Monster partners, Stanaton and Herbany, are now rendered in HD, as their forms from the 3D AnnieDex!
Auditory Upgrades:
• Ari's entire story-mode now has music, just like Sean's does! In addition, Ari's story's soundtrack is entirely new to the "Big Sean" series's musical score!
• Both Ari's and Sean's beach-scenes now have background music, as they perhaps should have possessed all along!
• Although zero improvements have been made to the infamous no-longer-supported 2018-Smart-Actions-Menu or its terribly-creepy voice-system, the scoring-interface has been updated to its 2020-variant, now featuring a much clearer, friendlier, and more humanistic, artificial-intelligence-infused, "JadeJohnson Records™" text-to-speech-engine!
Localization Updates:
• "More Games" has been disabled in the main menu, due to the JadeShop requiring some serious renovation.
• The JadeShop link has been disabled in "My Console" mode, for the same reason for which the main menu's "More Games" option is now unavailable.
• The bowling-alley's control-schemes have been relocalized according to the "JayBowl: Plot Plight" engine. "GYRO: OFF" has been changed to "WILL IS ON", and "GYRO: ON" is now "AIM IS ON"; making it much easier to understand which style-of-controls is currently-active at any given time!
Bug-Fixes:
• In the first room of both story-modes, the wall at the bottom of the screen no longer sports the wrong colour-palette!
• Whilst fighting your way through either protagonist's campaign, you should be able to notice that repeating enemies who share the same voice-file now all produce their full battle-cries, instead of every repetition after the first-member-of-a-streak cutting off after 0.05 seconds!
And maybe more?
We don't really remember; it was all such a blur! We made this in a matter of just twenty hours from start to finish, including inactivity, so we're sure there's something awesome we forgot to mention! If there's something cool we DID miss, that'll just be at least one more perk that this version of the game possesses that the original variant did not!
Please enjoy, and as always, "Happy Jading!™"
