It’s been a couple days without an update on the state of the game, so here’s the list of changes:
The code has been almost completely rewritten.
The problem with the keys scrolling the page is solved.
There’s 3 kinds of enemy (just aesthetically different for now)
Death animations.
The player can now perform a bayonete charge.
Grenades have been implemented (you have only 3 for now).
The first hit won’t kill you.
There’s now a title screen, and information regarding the player’s performance is provided upon death.
I’m uploading now what will probably be the final gbjam version (I may try to add some other feature).
I’d like to keep updating the game once the jam is over, though; there’s a lot of features that I did not have time to put in.
