Minecraft: Better than Blocks

Biomes and terrain generation are next.

I've implemented a brand new height map generator that makes better use of sine waves. It's as close to perlin noise as I can be bothered to make, and to be honest I much prefer the results I get from this because it's FAR more controllable and configurable.

I'm using a custom-modified pseudorandom cycle engine originally by DadOfMrLog.

Biomes I think I can implement:

  • Plains

  • Forest

  • Birch Forest

  • Meadow

  • Snowy Peaks

Stupid question. It depends entirely on the context of which you are rounding it in, ie the decimal place.

"What do eggs make?" a bunch of things, just because you can make devilled eggs doesn't mean it's wrong. You're a monster, but still.

I did it. I fucking did it.

Dynamically adjusting collision boxes that use vectors instead of the old method.

GET. FUCKING. BENT.

The person who allegedly got my project removed for being "inappropriate" has this in their featured project btw.

I can't help but think this was done out of spite if nothing else. I really want to believe otherwise.

I don't know why I bothered. All this gets hidden behind the engine.

I intend to, eventually, add character customisation. At the very least I'll port over the dressing room from Bedrock.

And yes, it says "Singleplayer". I may have mentioned before, but the foundation is there for multiplayer. Eventually.

Game first, tho.

It literally doesn't. It's one of the messiest endings to a TV show I've ever seen. It rivals GOT, and that's saying something.

Terrain generation is complicated.

added sprinting and i'm gonna improve connected textures.

sorry, i cant help it, i love working on this project lmfao

I ported every single splash text, with changes here and there because some can't be included since they mention Reddit and Twitter and what have you.

However, none were removed! Just reworded or 'scratchified'.

I also added a few special ones :)
