Blob Person's development has progressed a fair bit since our last demo update, so I'll go over the biggest changes here.
HATS
Blob Person likes hats, and there are hats hidden throughout each level. They are equipped through the pause menu. Exploration is encouraged
BATS (or lack thereof)
Blob Person's bat has been cut from the game. This decision was made because the bat wasn't adding anything fun to the game, and removing this mechanic meant certain things needed to be re-worked for the better. for example, you can now aim your slingshot with the right mouse button (or left trigger for controller players)
Throwing
Throwing has been overhauled to work better with the puzzles in later levels. Now you can aim where you throw items more precisely by holding the right mouse button with an item in your hand.
Other changes
- Gliders have been removed from level 2. This is the start of a larger re-work of the level.
- Replacing the gilders, are grind rails. these will appear throughout the game
- Visual improvements. Our art has been updated with more complex shaders and geometry. Most notably on the rocks
- Story teasers. There are now a few hints of Blob Person's story throughout the game.
Next up
Blob Person loves hats, and there's a surprising amount of free hats lying around these blob corpses. Probably nothing to worry about...
