I’ve fixed all the main bugs with my platformer code.
Now, I’m working on the main mechanic, the character switching.
It’s really not that difficult, but apparently I’m doing “something” wrong.. I just don’t know what.
I’ll keep everyone posted.
In the mean time, I want to thank all the new people who’ve started following my game as well as those people who have been doing so for a month or so now.
Currently, I’m programming all the features and stuff in a project I’m using only for first drafts of code so as to debug easier.
So basically, that means block city as far as graphics go right now.
But, have no fear! Once I get the character mechanic down pat, you’ll start seeing development shots of the actual game!
I know you all are excited for what this game could possibly be. You’re all probably also quite anxious, I know. I’ll cater to your innate sense of wonder soon enough.
As said before, I only can work on the game in my free time, which is usually Thursdays and Sundays, depending on if life calls or not.
Once again, thanks for your new and continued support!
I won’t disappoint you, if I can help myself not to!
