I'll keep this quick- Seaside Solstice 2026 is NOT happening. There's only 3 submissions, and 2 days left to submit, so it simply isn't worth running the event this time around.

HOWEVER, I'm not one to quit often, so of course we will be returning NEXT YEAR for the event again! I'm not demotivated by this at all, I just don't think it can work with so little people.

I'll be honest, I didn't do nearly enough to promote this event at all, and the setup was incredibly rushed since I was developing it right after finishing the Crabshack Jam in April.

For next year's event, there will be another FULL REBRAND! "Seaside Solstice" was ALSO a rushed fix that I made after realising "Cesstice" wasn't quite gonna cut it.

The future theming for the event has already been decided by a unanimous vote by several people and will be revealed later down the line once the setup is PROPERLY complete.

Until then, stay tuned! Some updates may pop up around the place, so be sure to see them!

Again, sorry for the cancellation! I PROMISE you it won't be cancelled next year!
