After evolution, this Pokémon stays in a cocoon to prepare for its next evolution : Butterfree.

Blastoise (The Shellfish Pokémon)

Blastoise has cannons on its shell that sprays out powerful water blasts that can pierce through steel. Where the water coms from exactly is unknown.

Wartortle (The Turtle Pokémon)

It is said that this Pokémon can live up to 10 000 years, thus people recognize it as a symbol of longevity. Some trainers also bruth Wartortle's tail frequently for good luck.

Caterpie (The Worm Pokémon)

Caterpie can release a horrible stench from its antennas to drive away its enemies, as well as somehow eating leaves bigger then itself.

Charmeleon (The Flame Pokémon)

Charmeleon can be found in rocky mountains seeking new opponents to fight. It can swing its tail around, allowing the temperature of its flame to rise to boiling hot levels.

Charizard (The Flame Pokémon)

Its flames are hot enough to melt boulders, and can even intensify into blue flames if angered enough.

For some reason, Charizard also couldn't use its wings to fly in the early days of Kanto.
